I’m Ruth McMullen, 74 yrs. old and self-taught painter. I started out in with Acrylic and moved on to oils. Didn’t pick up a paint brush until I was 52yrs. old and try to paint almost everyday.

My favorite things to paint are mountains and landscapes with water features. Painting is enjoyment to me, a time to relax, dream, and imagine all that could be; along with all its possibilities.

I just love the art of creating, to make the eyes move, making someone smile, but mostly to give pause of all that surrounds us on a daily basis. I’m owner of McM Designs.
