I'm Steve Boykin, I've been painting since 2009. I had limited exposure to painting up to that point. A friend hounded me to join her in a paint along. Had a great time and wanted more. Initially I only painted landscapes and still lifes. After about a year I took a class in portraits. I found the garden I wanted to be planted in. I like to play around with a variety of subjects and want to learn and grow. Hopefully I will be a student the rest of my life.
